We have fulfilled an old dream by launching our Afterschool Geekery program in Ukraine.
Our colleagues have volunteered to train the first 10 IT mentors in Ukraine to launch our digital literacy programme for children, Afterschool Geekery.
It is an incredible experience to work with this team. They are all СОС Дитячі Містечка Україна staff and volunteers, themselves NGO leaders, working with children and families who have fled the war to safer parts of Ukraine. Together with fantastic, open-minded colleagues who want to do something, we are now dreaming and doing what we do: giving children a chance to enter a field they themselves would never have imagined by learning digital literacy and advanced IT skills.
